Playlists

Modified on Wed, 12 Jun at 8:49 AM

A playlist is a collection of sequentially arranged content to be displayed in a selected region.

Each region has 20 pre-defined playlists. Once a region has been selected, a list of Playlists will appear at the top left of the Content window.

You can disable the visibility of unused playlists in the region settings.

Default playlist

The default playlist is the playlist that is currently playing if the Calendar does not currently point to another one. If you have not set up a playlist calendar then the default playlist is constantly playing.

Playlist options:

  • Play - changing the default playlist.
  • Rename - changing the name of the selected playlist.

Use the names of playlists to easily distinguish the content they contain.

Quick change

Switches the view to visible playlist tile mode. By clicking on the selected tile, the playlist immediately becomes active and displayed on the screen. You will find the option to open the Quick Change window under the list of playlists on the left side of the Content window.

A mode used to manage information on crossing monitors or traffic information.

Calendar

An option to configure a weekly calendar for playlists. You can choose which list to play on the selected days and times of the week. The option to configure the calendar can be found in the menu at the bottom of the Content window.

In the calendar slide edit window, you configure the start time of the selected list activity and the playback time (length), not the end time. The end time (To) is calculated and is shown below.

You can define overlapping periods. In this case, the playlists will be played consecutively during this period.

Remember: During all free periods (not defined in the calendar), the default playlist will be played.
