To help you set up your device easily and quickly, we have put together some key tips.

• Start the player (mini-computer).
  • Connect the player to the internet.

Start the player (mini-computer).

Pictor Player will start automatically. You will see your player's unique ID and password in the top right corner of the screen.

Connect the player to the internet.

You can use an RJ-45 network cable or connect to your WiFi network (for minicomputer models that are equipped with a wireless network card).

Computer administrator password: Pictor DS Not all computers we configure require an administrator password.

Download Pictor Manager.

To manage your player, download Pictor Manager to any other Windows computer. The program installer can be downloaded from our website: www.pictorplayer.com from the Download tab. You can install the management program on as many computers as you want.

In Pictor Manager, enter your two-step Pictor player connection details.

In Pictor Manager, perform:

1. Click the Add button on the Your Players tab. The button is located in the bottom menu of the window.
2. Enter the connection ID and password. You can read this data from the Pictor Player window. Optionally, you can enter the IP address of the player on your local network.
3. Optionally, click on Test connection. This will check that you did not make a mistake when entering the data.
4. Confirm using the Ok button.

The registered player will appear in the list of your players. If you have more players they will all be in this list.

Connect to player

To connect to the player you need to:

1. Select the player in the list of your players.
2. Click Connect in the menu at the bottom of the window.

Double-click a player row in the list to start the connection.

Log in

Whichever way you connect to the player, you must additionally log in by entering your user name and password. The login window should appear automatically. You can also call it up by clicking the Login option on the right-hand side of the menu bar.

Default login data

The user's default password must be changed after the first login.

When you connect to the player, a new connection tab will open.

You will see a simple menu at the top. You can now manage your content. See the topic about Player management

Activate the licence key.

You have received a licence key with your purchase document. Activate it in Pictor Manager on the Start tab using the New licence button (in the bottom bar).
