Attention! Do not set this option for all playlist items, as you may find that no item can be shown due to the restriction.

ArtNet
The ArtNet protocol is a communication protocol used in the stage industry to transmit DMX-512 signals over Ethernet networks. It was developed by Artistic Licence and is widely used in stage lighting control, architectural lighting control, and other compatible equipment control applications.
In the Pictor system, the ArtNet protocol is used to force playback of individual content, allowing synchronization of player content and screen regions within a single Ethernet network.
Remember, the option requires enabling Artnet listening in the player's general configuration on the Start tab.
Type of synchronization
- None - the item does not respond to data received by ArtNet.
- Play the item when receiving the channel (status > 100) - if the set Channel takes a value above 100 the item will be played (the currently displayed content will be interrupted).
- Send synchronization packet with high state of the Channel - before playing an item, an ArtNet packet with high state of the selected Channel will be sent, which can be used to synchronize items on other players or regions of the same player.
In the ArtNet protocol, we configure two parameters:
- Universe - channel set. One Universe covers up to 512 channels. The default Universe is 1 and you can leave it that way for most installations. In case of a large installation or an installation together with other devices, you can choose a separate Universe number for the Pictor installation so that transmissions do not interfere with each other.
- Channel- can take a value from 0 to 255. Each channel controls the launch of the selected item if its value is above 100. In one playlist, there should be no items that are launched with the same channel number and the same Universe.
Inactive items will not be started despite receiving a packet with a high state of the selected channel.
Using synchronization, you can use the Run Only on Demand option from the Restrictions tab so that an item is not displayed in a loop with other items.
